The end of our dear Gepetto
Gepetto has been with us since we started Dental School, so we are going on 4 years now... how did this fish live so long?! We have NO idea! He has been left for weeks at a time without being fed, in a cold house all winter, and somehow, he hasn't keeled over! So, I was cleaning out his bowl yesterday, which consists of dumping out half the water and adding new water, then dumping out half the water again and adding new water... so you can understand even more clearly why we are amazed he has lived so long! He must have a great immune system!
Anyway, as I first started dumping water, the bowl just collapsed in my hands... I have no idea how it happened, but I have cuts all over my fingers, hands, and wrists from all the glass. Poor Gepetto was lying there on a glass shard with little slivers of glass all over him... I scooped him up and put him in an empty hot cocoa mug (something I drink EVERY day) in the other side of my sink and added some water. I got the glass all cleaned up and dumped G in a big vase I have, pictured above. SO, he's actually still alive, but he's acting like this is the end. I'm sure he has glass all through his little body, but Jace is so sad, he wants to keep him till we're sure he's dead. The poor little guy, he barely moves, isn't eating, and he's more vertical in the tank than horizontal! I just don't have the heart to flush the little thing till he's belly up. Yuck! We haven't decided if we will replace him yet, but you never know, maybe this little fish is immortal!
Here are a few pics for Dad to see the tricks my kids are up to. They love pushing eachother around on this bike... It's like the bane of our existence. The kids fight over this toy like no other! They *love* this thing!
Here's Jace doing his amazing handstand! I'm mostly amazed we could get footage, the way our camera botches everything up! Don't mind the kids' awful hair, I KNOW they need haircuts, but it won't happen till next week! This last one is of the kids acting like Cacti. They were posing like robots and then decided 'it would be awesome to look like a cactus!' Enjoy!

v.a.l.e.n.t.i.n.e.s.
This holiday isn't usually a favorite of mine, but I'm so excited for this weekend! Cameron is coming HOME! It will be such a great break for us! I wanted to post a pic up of Cam, but to no avail, I can't get a single pic to upload for some reason, I keep getting an error message... But anyone who knows us, already knows what a hunk Cameron is, :) so I don't really need a pic! Heehee! Anyway, Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Jace...
He is so0o funny to me! He said something hilarious and I wanted to get it written down before I forgot it... which is inevitable since I forget most of the funny things he says... anyway, so we were driving home from church and he got this little Valentine from a girl in his class... Here is our conversation as we're driving home:
Jace: Mom, I got this girly Valentine from Amber, but I wanted a Transformer.
Mom: That's ok, she's a girl so she gives girly ones.
J: Yeah, but I'm a boy and I'm giving car ones, but she'll like them cause she likes me.
M: Is that so? Do you like her?
J: Nope, but she knows I don't have a girlfriend so she gave me that lovey card. I don't need a girlfriend since I'm so busy playing with my toys.
M: Good! You ARE too busy! Girlfriends are for very older boys!
J: Yup! Love you Mom...
Heehee! He makes me laugh!! Thank goodness he's so busy! I do NOT need that right now!!
This pic is from this past week, they were rockin' out to BonJovi, Livin' on a Prayer! Enjoy!!

It's been way too long!!!
OK, my camera is junk and I haven't been able to get pics up for a while, but here's a bunch and I'll update tonight after the kids are in bed! Oh, the pics are sorta out of order, so I'll fix that later as well... these are mostly for Cam to see! Love you! Oh, Jace said something HILARIOUS just now: Mom, I'm almost in Dental school, when I'm big and old like Dad, like 29, I'll be in Dental school, too. Love it!!!
So here's the explanation of my pics...
Here is a puzzle that took us like 3 days to complete... it was a hard one, the kiddies and Dad got it for me for the BIG b-day... Jace was actually helpful, he's a puzzle fanatic and very good at it!

Here's a pic of Little C... I'm not sure if Jace or Campbell took it, but I thought it was funny...

Here's one of the lifesize paper dolls we've been working on. This is Jace's body. He wanted to make sure the dolls wore everything he does. So far we have his "pirate chonies", striped t-shirt, "white socks with the gray circles", and "awesome mohawk hair, but I want it brown like your's Mom". He still needs pants, shoes and a face, but that will come sometime this week. Campin' is still nakey...

One of my favorite pics of my kids. Jace is the best at picture taking. He just smiles and smiles till it's over, what a good boy! And I love Campbell in this one, cause that's so her... she just watches Jace and wants to be just like him. She's our feisty, curious one, always wondering what's going on.
Here's some old ones from Christmas that were still on the camera... so here's proof we believe in Santa:
