I have the BEST husband!

OK, I'll tell you right now, Cam is awesome... I know... who cares... blah blah blah, but I really think he's great! He is so good to me, and this past weekend he busted out a workbench for me so I could finally start doing some projects from home!! He did all of this in the freezing cold on Saturday. It's completed and I'm just waitng for a day when I have some free time to get out there and work! I love him!!

Here's my latest project. It's about 90% complete but I haven't put up the canvases I painted yet, still one more to go... so that's something you can all look forward to seeing! I love how this turned out! Thanks to Teri for letting me lift her idea (sort of) AND use her house! I stuck some pics of our family up on this shelf, but they looked crowded so they are missing from the pic... OH, thanks to Emily K for the shelf she so graciously pawned off on us when she moved to GVR! It used to be blue, and it's the perfect length!!

Em I that stoopid?!!!

OK, I found this funny thing where you can get your blog rated for it's readability... so either I'm an idiot, or I am just trying to keep my blog at the level of my readers' abilities! How lame am I?!!! OK, don't answer that!! Peace!

All Worn Out (Start at the bottom!)

After all of the fun we've been having, the kids were pooped! Here's one of the kiddies after all our gallivanting was over! Campbell was having a nap on the floor and Jace cuddled up next to her and fell asleep as well! It was just too cute to pass up so I snapped a couple shots of them!

We also went to the park and fountain for Playgroup and the kids had fun playing in the water! We had such a busy couple of days, but it was so fun to be outdoors enjoying the weather!


Here's Jace getting his ears re-tested. He has a little bit of negative pressure still, but his hearing was 100% and they also tested his ability to hear and repeat sounds and he aced that as well! We were so grateful and he had a fun time playing games with the girls that did his tests!

Campbell definitely takes after her Mom! She loves to go through my purse and pour everything out and put it back in! What a cutie!

Here's Campbell watching for Dad to get home. She loves to look out the window and watch for Jace to ride past on his bike and she loves to see Dad when he comes up the walk!

Here's Jace 'tasting the wind'on the tire swing. He loves spinning around and around and around... I can't believe I used to do that and not get dizzy!
Jace played with one of our neighbors, doing tricks on the swings. They were spinning them and going as high as they could, it was pretty cute!

Campbell had fun checking out the grass... she hasn't felt grass since last summer, so I'm sure it was like a new experience for her. She kept putting grass in her mouth! It was fun!

OK, my pics downloaded in backwards, so start here and it should all make sense!! We started the week at the park! It was such a nice day so we went to our local park and played for a while.

A late update...

Last week was a fun, busy week! We started the week by getting a birdhouse for Jace. He has had more fun painting it! And he's done a pretty good job too! He's very proud, and he picked the colors all by himself!! We also made cookies that day, so they were obviously store bought so I wouldn't make anyone sick!
We did a really fun obstacle course and timed everyone. Of course Jace was the winner everytime, even when he waSN'T, BUT IT WAS A GOOD WORKOUT AND FUN TO WATCH! Oops, capslock, not gonna go back! Here's a cute one of Campbell. We were thinking how fun it would be to go to a warmer place, although, we've been having pretty good weather! So anyway, if anyone thinks Campbell's just too cute to say no to, then take us to the beach! Campbell is begging you!

SOLD!!!

OK< long story short: We got this scooter in Rexburg for $800, back in '05 and it was really good to us, Cam rode it to school, work, around town, Jace loved riding on it!! So we brought it to Denver with us so Cam could continue to use it... we had it locked up most of the time, but one day the battery died and it was out of gas so we just locked the steering wheel and the front wheel, and parked it in front of our house. Next morning it was gone... someone was watching us and nabbed it! We were pretty nervous for a while... so anyway, we knew they couldn't get too far since it was a POS at this point and the whole thing was locked up and wouldn't start... This was Oct. '06. A month later, over Thanksgiving, it was found in a back field by our house. It was practically ripped in half, the wheels were all bent out of shape, the key holes were stripped, pieces were missing, you get the picture... try as they might, they couldn't get it to do what they wanted! So we fixed it up as best we could, but there was one major thing we had no idea how to fix... so we had it checked and got a quote... $1000!!! We didn't even buy it for that much! So we said no thanks and waited for oever a year... We were sick of it sitting on the back porch, So yesturday, Cam finally said, let's try to sell it! So we posted it up on Craigslist (LOVE that place) and didn't really know what to expect... within an hour or so, we had like 5 hits! tons of guys wanted it so they could try their hand at fixing it! So we sold it in less than 4 hours! Now we are wishing we would have asked for more since it was such a HOT commodity! Anyway, we're so glad to be rid of it and now we have some extra cash to play! Hooray! PS, I guess it wasn't such a short story anyway, thanks for reading my chatter!!

OK, these didn't turn out exactly how I pictured them, but it was late when I made them and well, I was done! I am really loving the digi world! These were pics from our trip to Colo Springs, and a day at the park last week. Enjoy!

A new post...

OK, this is a boring one, but I wanted to say I got rid of my 'friends who blog' section for a bit... I was trying to figure out how to get a cool drop down menu (like Shelley's) so I don't look like such a friend-monger with names down most of the page... but it wasn't working very well. Half the links weren't working so I'll start over another day. I got tired of re-typing all the info in, just to have to fix it yet again! So anyway, otherwise we are just getting through a slow week. Campbell has had a runny sort of nose and isn't sleeping AT ALL! Maybe teeth?!! Jace is great, he's been eating really well for about a month now and he is such a good big brotha. He loves Campbell and vice versa! I love having the two of them at home with me! It's such a blast! OK< here's a coupla random pics...

Parties, Parties and more Parties!!!

We started last weekend with a party for our good friend, Spencer, who had his 2nd birthday. Midweek, Jace went to a birthday party for his friend 'Toa, who is in his Sunbeam class at Church. 'Toa turned 4!
Then this past weekend, we went to a party for Logan, who had a kite party for his 2nd birthday. It was so nice to get outside and I couldn't pass up getting a cute picture of Campbell and McKay playing together!!
Then, on Saturday night after the guys went to PM, we had a Wii party at the Websters. The Deans looked so good in their rocker bling so I had to post a pic of them... Rock On!

We have had such a fun, busy week! We had a bunch of friends over to playgroup at our house and they made fruit salad and mini pizzas. It was fun to get all the kids together. Everyone played so well, no fighting and minimal sharing problems, you gotta love that! OK, so we have enjoyed listening and watching conference this weekend, and can't wait to reread the talks and remember the thoughts and feelings we have had during this weekend.
