The Story behind the picture

First, I wanted to post some pics of my two little heartbreakers, and then the story... Enjoy!

Ok, so we are getting our pics taken at this awesome little rundown barn near our house, and inside the chicken coop (where the previous posted pic was taken) is a huge pile of nice big boxes... I'm thinking, 'wow! Those would be nice to have for storage when we move in May...' So after we take some shots and Teri is getting pics of my kids, I go in to check 'em out. I go to push one aside and it won't budge... OK, something is inside that box, something is inside all the boxes!!! This pile is as tall as I am!!! I call Cam over to check, and sure enough, there are TV's, Computers, Cameras, Vacuums... wow!!!!! So we call the police and let them know what we've found and then head out to finish up our picture session. On the way back home we see 4 cop cars parked there, one with lights blaring and sirens going, and like 8 cops looking through the barn. Later that night a cop came to get a statement from us. In total, there were 47 items in the coop that were stolen, all from Sam's Club. They had already caught someone the night before with the same merchandise but couldn't pin this to him since we didn't see anyone. He also said it was an inside job... how pathetic that people think they have a right to steal... Anyway, Sam's Club never reported it missing so the cops said the stuff would go up for auction in 30 days unless someone else can claim it... Anybody need a new flatscreen tv?!!

Christmas is coming...

the geese are getting fat...
We are gearing up for the cold. So far we've only had 1 snowday! It's been a warm fall so far and I *love* it!!!!! Last night we had the missionaries over for dinner and then did FHE with them. We sent letters to Santa in our new Magic MAilbox and today we got letters back and some sweet treats for being on the nice list! My kids were so excited! Jace was yelling at me to come downstairs at 7am!! Campbell just wanted me to open her Tootsie Rolls! --- Thank goodness for tons of leftover Halloween Candy!! (FYI, we aren't big candy/sweets-eaters over here, so we still have a pretty full bucket!) Anyway, my camera has a low battery and won't take a pic, so as soon as I replace the batteries, I'll get a pic up of our awesome BIG mailbox!! Until then, enjoy this one:
This cute one was after Jace gave his first talk as a sunbeam! He was so brave and super cute, of course!!!

Bebe in her dress

Here are a few cute ones of little bebe in her Christmas dress. It's much cuter on, I think! She was having a hard time standing still (or sitting still, for that matter!)

Finally occupied with a piece of paper!!
I'm gonna make some black headbands with pink flowers to go with the dress... tfl!

Crafts

Here's my most recent creation, last night to be exact.... this bad boy only took me 2 hours to complete from start of pattern making, to finished product... ok, so it's not quite done, but oh so close!! This will be Baby Punk's Christmas dress and Boy Punk will have a sweet bowtie to go along with it!! Here was the first of the two, my friend Lang helped me bust this one out over the summer!! Love this style! the original style we copied from is a Matilda Jane dress... such cute and funky stuff!
We've had a few fun things going on the last couple weeks, birthday parties, Holidays, chuck e cheese, pre-school... But I've been busy as ever! A bunch of us are throwing a craft boutique the weekend before Thanksgiving, so I've been trying to get stuff completed... here are some sneak peeks to whet your appetite:

These awesome little tutus were so-o easy to make! We will have ribbon tutus and bracelets as well!
These are just a bunch of random shots of all our stuff. Paper crafts, wood working, vinyl lettering, fabric.... we've had A LOT of fun crafting the last couple months!

Message me if you're interested in coming to the show! All our stuff is pretty inexpensive, we've just had so much fun doing it!!

Anyway, we are doing well, Cam is trying to finish up patient stuff so we can finish up school. Boy Punk is living it up as a 4 year old, Baby Punk is sweet as ever, lovin' on everyone and everything! Life is good!

Oh, it's Halloween!

There are a bunch of pics and I'm not really feeling like writing about each one, so you'll have to guess at them!! We went as the Yo Gabba Gabba crew, minus Muno and Plex the Magic Robot. I keep saying I won't make our costumes next year, but I *love* it, so I'm sure I'll continue to make homemade ones as long as my Punky B's will wear them! Enjoy! Big J went as DJ Lance Rock

Little C went as Foofa

Mom and Dad went as Toodee and Brobee, respectively

These pics are for Matt Hein-ee... we know you'll be on here looking for some ammo!!

The annual Halloween party. My awesome friend Teri took our pics and pics of all the kiddies in their costumes. you can see her work here: http://picturethisphotographybyteri.blogspot.com/

We went to the Anderson Farms Pumpkin Patch this year. It was really fun until Punky Baby puked all over Dad!

Punky Boy loved it! We ended up not finding a punkin we liked but got plenty of pics! There was a ton of stuff to do included in the entry price so we lived it up until the puke was too much for us to handle

We must be worth more than $12, right?!!

It's almost been a month...

SO... here's a desktop I put pictures on recently... It's of our Halloween costumes from last year.
We dressed as Peter Pan characters, obviously: Pan, Tink, TigerLily, Hook. That was a fun Halloween! Here's to another good one!

Just one more...

Just one of the kiddies at the Great Plains Park with our friends. We absolutely *love* this place! We went here at least once a month all summer!

Jace's First Day!

Here's a little layout I did this morning... it's been quite a while since I did any Digi Kits... I couldn't quite remember what I was doing, so this is a QuickPage, which means someone else did the work and I just had to add photos and journaling... Enjoy!

That's Kooky!!

Here are two random pics that I liked...

quirk:n. 1. A peculiarity of behavior; an idiosyncrasy: "Every man had his own quirks and twists" Harriet Beecher Stowe. 2. An unpredictable or unaccountable act or event; a vagary: a quirk of fate

The Rules: Link the Person who tagged you. Mention rules on your blog. Tell about 6 quirks of yours. Tag 6 fellow bloggers to do the same. Leave a comment to let them know

OK> I've done this before so I'm just going to put some of my many other ones! I was tagged by Stacey J. Thanks, girl!!

#1 I talk A LOT!! Ok, that's not really a quirk, more like a character flaw... ok, I have an issue with textures, I can't swallow pudding, yogurt, applesauce, soft serve ice cream, melted cheese is difficult, cottage cheese, creamy sauces... the list goes on

#2 I check and re-check the locks on the house every single night, not OCD like Jack Nicholson (As good as it gets), but close enough

#3 I wash (scrub) behind my ears every time I have a shower/bath...

#4 I can't stay with a project for too long. My attention span is way too short, so I've constantly got something going on, some new hobby I'm pursuing- currently it's woodworking, moving toward sewing...

#5 I love to make harmonies up on a whim... with any song out there

#6 I don't eat meat except rarely Turkey and only white meat Chicken, even then I pick through it all.

My Little Boy is All Grown Up!!

OK, so the pics are all out of order, but you get the gist... Jace started Pre-K today! We were all up early and so excited! He could not wait!! I can't get over the fact that my boy is turning into a big kid! He is in heaven!!! I am excited and sad over the new bit of freedom I have! Now I need to figure out what to do while he's gone! We had to come a bit early to turn in some papers, so since we had time to spare, we headed over to the Preschool play ground.

Then we went to his classroom. #3. He is in Ms. Newell's class. She is very nice and was excited to have Jace in her class! THey have a back to school night coming up next week where we can meet other parents and see what they will be working on in class. I had a hard time leaving him, but he was so thrilled, he didn't even wave goodbye!

Here he is with his park friend, Alexander (left) and his church friend, Wyatt (right). What a coincidence to have two friends he loves to play with there!!

Here is Jace before we left to take him to school. The whole time he was saying, " Come on Mom, let's just go already!!" He's not ready to get to school, is he?!!

Trying to get Campbell to cooperate. She just couldn't hold still! So this was the best shot I could get. Next year, maybe!

Dad and Jace showing off their school attire! Jace thought it was pretty neat that they both get to go to school now! They had to show off their back packs too!

Today was such a fun day! I can't wait to hear how Jace's day went! Updates to come soon!

Brokeback Kneeboarding at the Flaming Gorge

Ok, I'm repeating what my SIL already put on her blog, but it was a title we all came up with together and I couldn't pass it up! So, here are Cam and Bry at Flaming Gorge, Utah:Alright, so they were back to their old selves, doing stunts and stuff. I couldn't get the other pics to download correctly or you could see their stupid grins!! SO, Cameron pretty much stood on Bryant's shoulders... pretty nutty! But we had a fun week and loved watching everyone try the wakeboards and kneeboards!!
Here are all the boys doing, well, nothing actually!! But they cooked just about every meal and helped out a ton! What a bunch of studs!

What a fun ride we had! Michelle, Gretchen, and Me on the raft behind the boat. We had a wild ride, were sure we were gonna get flipped off the thing, and had sore bums and legs afterward! We had so much fun being out in the middle of the lake with no responsbilities. When it was time to go in, we (I) tried to unhook the raft and we ended up getting flipped out! Lucky for Gretchen, she was in the middle and was able to stay in the raft!! We had such a fun time with Cameron's family!

Campbell is 1!!!

Sorry for the big light spot on Camper's forehead, couldn't photoshop it off without messing up her cute face!

Anyway, I cannot believe my baby is a one year old! This past year has been a whirlwind of fun times! I have just really enjoyed my kids this past year and love them both so much! We had a fun little party at the park and Campbell got a bunch of fun, neat presents for her birthday!
Some of my favorite memories of the past year are:
Jace just loving to sit with Camp and hug and kiss her... I loved watching the two of them together and still do
Campbell sitting up at 4 months, crawling at 6 months, and walking at 10.5/11 months.
Going to the park, splash parks, and pools with our family.
Watching out the window for Dad to get home. My kids love to watch for Cameron!
Sneaking a peek on my kiddies as they play in their room together. Jace is so careful of Campbell and she simply adores Jace! They really play well together!
Hearing Campbell's first words, Dad, Jace, Hi, Mmm!!! Mama
Watching her giggle in delight and clap her hands when she accomplishes something great: walking, finding a candy in my purse, getting the bottle she's been waiting for.

This summer, and past year, has been a fun one! Wish I had more pictures to show... When we can get the pics from the last couple trips, I'll try to get them posted up!
