OK, I know I just posted...

But I had some other pics and they were taking forever to upload... This top one is of the kids helping make dinner... just lettuce for a taco salad, but they had fun helping out. I went to this awesome cooking class and got some great ideas to try to get my kids to start eating without me yelling at them all mealtime... so this was the first attempt... letting them help get the meal ready. The taco salad didn't go over too well, but that was last Sunday, and since then, they've eaten pretty well! I have a few other ideas up my sleeve if this one gets old for them...
For St. Patrick's Day we made homemade pizza with shamrock shaped bell peppers and other toppings. That was a fun dinner to help make!

Then we set a trap to catch our house leprechaun... the trap was really good, but the sneaky little guy was too quick! He left a ton of treats, a few foot prints, and a note telling us to try again next year!

Yo! it's almost time to go...

Let's go back and remember what we did today..

Gotta love us some YGG!! Anyway, here are some of the latest projects I've been working on... it's a 4x4 block for all the seasons, Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, so you just turn it when the season changes... and true to form, it's unfinished... :)

We celebrated Dr. Seuss' Big Day by dying our scrambled eggs green and since then we've tried all sorts of colors. This day was rainbow-colored... we did lime green for St. Pat's.

I've been working on my food storage and trying things I've never heard of before... This is canned butter. super easy... It's a 4 oz jar so we can use it as a spread, It doesn't need to be cold and lasts almost 2 years! ...The birds in the back are a project from the summer I did with Teri B...
Here's what I tried today: Cheese Sauce! -- like cheese whiz. It took a bit more time, but I have enough for mac and cheese, nachos, tater tot casserole, etc.... lasts 2 years...
I've also learned you can pressure can your milk, and hard cheese (it starts mild and turns sharp as it sits in the can)... interesting, huh?!! Oh, and you can freeze eggs!... another day soon!...

A Giveaway from me!!!!!

I've cleared the comments and the first 5 to comment on my blog and follow the directions will be getting a giveaway from me. Here's the fineprint...

The first 5 people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!

2- What I create will be just for you.

3- It will be done sometime this year.

4- You will have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be an article on properly cleaning your face before a masque, or tips on how to clean out your closets. I may sew or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!

5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who follow the directions.

Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!
