The pictures are a bit small, I forgot to resize them. Anyway, here's the downstairs of our home. We haven't gotten furniture for the upstairs yet so that will come later...

The living area. View from the top and then views from the sides...

The hallway in the back left leads to the full bathroom, guest room, and laundry. The hallway on the right leads to a second kitchen entry plus the front door and office area.

My big canvas (thrifted in Denver) will get finished and mounted up there above the fireplace... it's halfway done right now, but painting takes such a long time for me.

Kitchen - tons of cupboard space. I still have cabinets that are empty!!!

Front room/office. We will get some couches or a settee to make this a bit more formal. *love* my white shag rug. Love me some white right now!! -although I'm not the biggest fan of the white tv console... thank goodness for paint!

Guest room. We only have a bed and a bookcase in there right now... I have NO IDEA what else I may do in there. Prolly nothing... But there's a lot of room so come on over!!!

Downstairs full bath. I was standing in the tub to take this pic.

Backyard. This pic was taken the night we moved in so it's a bit more set up now. Tile patio with pergola. We love spending time back here, and it's so much cooler here than it was in Houston! We've only got one little tree, but the neighbors all have big ones so we get pretty good shade all day long! Gotta love that!

Some random fun

These aren't in any particular order... just getting some things down.

Jace at Sea World, San Antonio watching Shamu and baby shamu. We came out while Cam was already working to try and beat the Houston heat... HA! fat chance, it's just as hot in S.A. just not so humid.

A shot of our new place, the day after the move, so ignore the mess! Notice how well I'm prepared for hurricane season? That's only half! Some of our friends lost power/water for 2 weeks! anyway, we have a massive house. We're still renting, so there will be yet another move coming in our future... {blah} If you are in the area, please come stay with us! We love visitors and we def. have the space for now!

The big moving van! Cam was so nice! Halfway thru, he took both kids and I got quiet in the car the rest of the drive! Heaven!!

Campbell at the awesome pool we spent our entire two summers at! Jace learned to swim here last summer and Campbell learned to swim here this summer!!! PS, she's two. huh?! ...yeah! I'll get some pics of her swimming at our new {less attractive} neighborhood pool soon!

Jace on the last day of school! He got to ride in a hummer limo with one of his besties and their friends! Had a blast, thinks it will happen every year at the end of school now!

Another pic with one of his besties! He had 3 boys who he spent as much time with as possible this past year. If you go thru my posts (since there haven't been many) you can see the last friend!

Mother's Day in San Antonio, before we had officially moved out, although Cam was already out in SA working

Jace with super glue on his forehead. He ran into a door somehow while we were looking at possible homes to move into... 4 hours in the ER & $1000 later, and only some glue to show for it... ugh!! Oh, and in the background, you can see Cam's nasty extended stay where he lived for 2 months. I don't recommend it. It was hard having him gone, the place was just sick, and it's not worth the money saved, just move! Transfer schools for your kids, lose some money paying double rent... ugh!

Am I HOT?!

The kids have said some funny things recently so I wanted to get them written down before I lose them!

C: Mom, when you go poopy, I will change you, now! (She potty-trained herself a few weeks ago, in 4 days!)

J: Look at those cows, Mom! I love meat! I could just eat one of those cows right up!

Anytime Camper is talking about the men in our house, she calls them 'My Guys'

Jace told me last Friday that Justin Beaver and Taylor Smith are 'hot'. So we talked about why they are hot. He had no idea what 'hot' even meant! I told him it meant they were cute. He said all the girls in his class say they are cute, then. So we looked them up online so he could hear their music and see if they were 'hot' after all. He agreed that Miss Smith was cute, but Mr. Beaver is a boy and we don't think boys are cute! That's my boy!! :) But, he DOES like JB's music, for the record...

And the conversation I just got finished laughing about:

J: Campbell, you're so hot! You are such a hottie! - That means she's cute, right Mom?!

M: Yep! Campbell is sure cute!

C: Yeah! I AM hot! Feel my arms Jace.

J: (Feeling her arms) Yep, you're hot Campbell! So so cute!!! - Mom, am I hot?

M: Of course you are, sweetie!
